Our Preschool (3-4 year old) children are ready to take on the world of learning!
At Pangea Schools, we offer multiple Georgia Pre-K classes. The children already attending our preschool classes get preference in admission to our GA Pre-K program. Our preschool class allows children to engage with the environment around them and offers self-directed learning. Children are allowed to explore their classroom and explore nature outside to grow their sense of curiosity. We focus on laying the foundation for our kids to excel in the GA Pre-K classes. Our kids learn to explore freely, think independently, problem-solve, respect their peers, and self-regulate.
Our lesson plans focus on learning through play and are organized around small and large group activities. We welcome you to come and see for yourself and decide if Pangea Schools is the right choice for your child.
Is your child ready to explore, discover, and grow in a nurturing environment? At The Pangea Schools, we believe preschool is more than just preparation for kindergarten — it’s the beginning of a lifelong love for learning. As a trusted preschool daycare in Lawrenceville, Georgia, we offer families a place where children thrive through hands-on experiences and caring guidance.
We don’t just focus on academics — we build the whole child. Social-emotional skills, independence, problem-solving, and critical thinking are part of our daily rhythm. With a mix of indoor and outdoor learning, children are free to wonder, experiment, and grow at their own pace. Our experienced teachers use a balanced approach that incorporates play-based learning with developmentally appropriate instruction to support every child’s unique needs.
Plus, for families looking ahead, our preschool program seamlessly transitions into our GA Pre-K classrooms, giving current students a head start and continuity in their early learning journey.
Most children begin preschool between the ages of 3 and 4. At this age, they are developmentally ready to engage in group activities, follow simple routines, and begin early learning tasks.
While there’s no strict list, it helps if children are potty-trained, can follow basic directions, and are comfortable being away from parents for short periods. Preschool helps develop these skills further.
Play-based learning supports cognitive, social, and motor development. It encourages creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration while allowing children to learn in ways that feel natural and fun.
Preschool days include structured and unstructured time: morning circle, storytime, art projects, group play, outdoor exploration, snack/lunch, and rest. Each day follows a consistent routine to help children feel secure.
Signs of readiness include curiosity about the world, interest in playing with other children, some ability to follow instructions, and growing independence. Visiting the school and meeting the teachers can also help ease the transition.
